Leverkusen feuert Augentaler

Bayer Leverkusen und Trainer Klaus Augenthaler gehen nach Informationen von "Bild" getrennte Wege. Wie die Zeitung in einer Vorab-Information mitteilte, gibt der Fußball-Bundesligist die Trennung auf einer Pressekonferenz in den Mittagsstunden bekannt. Damit zieht der Verein die Konsequenzen aus der 0:1-Niederlage gegen ZSKA Sofia im Uefa Cup und dem schlechtesten Bundesliga-Start seit 23 Jahren. Beim Spiel am Sonntag in Duisburg soll Rudi Völler die Mannschaft betreuen.
